This is the simplest version of making jeera rice. It enhances the taste of the dish when mixed with any type of gravy. I made it for my butter chicken gravy and it tasted awesome. The green chilies in it adds extra taste to the rice.

Ingredients

Cooked Rice (Basmati) – 1 cup
Oil – 1 tbsp
Cumin/Jeera – 1 tsp
Green chillies – 2 slit
Salt

Method

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and let it splutter. Add green chillies and sauté. Green chillies should get fried well so that it would become less spicy and you will be able to eat it. Add cooked rice and give it a good mix. Serve hot with any gravy of your choice.
