Potato Cheese Balls

I had this dish for the first time in a get together party but had no clue how to make them. Since then i forgot about it. But again i happened to eat it recently at a restaurant and i loved the taste of it so thought of giving it a try at home.
Ingredients
Potato - Boiled and mashed – 1 cup (1 large potato would be
enough for this)
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – ¼ tsp
Cumin powder – a pinch
Cheese – as needed – Cut into small cubes
Bread crumbs – ¼ cup
Cornflour – 2 tbsp (Made into batter by mixing in some
water)
Salt
Oil for deep frying
Method
In a bowl add mashed potatoes. Add salt, red chilli powder,
coriander powder and 2 tbsp of bread crumbs. Mix it into a dough. Take the
dough little by little and roll them into small balls.
We would need as many cheese cubes as there are potato
balls. It depends on the size and number of potato balls you make. Each one
will make a different number. Hence I have not mentioned the amt of cheese.
Now make a small dip in the potato balls and place the
cheese cube in between. Cover it with potato mixture and keep it aside. Repeat
this for the rest of the potato balls
Now dip the potato-cheese balls in cornflour batter and roll
it in the remaining bread crumbs and deep fry. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
My Notes
My Notes
ü Serve the dish immediately as it would get soft
if it is kept for too long.
ü Do not stuff in too much cheese or the potato
mixture might not be able to hold it.
