Fish is a staple food at home. It is a part of our meal on most of the days in a week. I have tried variety of fishes but Pomfret i feel has the best meat among other fishes. It tasted yummy with the green masala that i tried this time.
Ingredients
Fish – 6 (I used pomfret)
Oil for shallow frying
For Marinade
Coriander leaves – ½ cup
Mint leaves – ½ cup
Green chillies -2-3
Ginger – 1 inch
Cloves – 6 big
Onion – 1 small
Salt
Yogurt – 2 tbsp
Method
Grind all the ingredients under
marinade into a fine thick paste. Marinate the fish with this masala paste and
leave it in fridge for around 4-6 hours.
Take a non-stick pan and add enough
oil for shallow frying. Place the fish and shallow fry it on low flame till it
turns golden brown. Serve hot.
